Many people wonder where The Skarate Kids Originated.  Well, here's the answer...retard.

The Skarate Kids originated as Almost There, with original members Zach, Mike and two other people who's names we won't say to protect the innocent...

Almost There started when Mike introduced Zach to the wonders of Ska... Zach fell in love with it.  Then he realized that he played clarinet, and he wasn't that good, but he promised to try hard and get really good...Him and his homedawg Mike started Almost There, with hopes of making the first successful ska band with a clarinetist.  NOTE: mircale stories such as this one where really bad clarinetist become pretty good don't happen every day.

After a LOT of member disputes, too many guitar solos, and getting absolutely nowhere, Mike and Zach pulled away from Almost There, starting the current Skarate Kids.

At first, there was no name.  The name was thought of when a loser named Ashley said, "LOOK I'M A SKARATE KID!!!!", while jumping off a sidewalk like an idiot,  causing Mike and Zach to think, "what the hell is she saying?".  and then they realized...SKA-ra-te.  nice.

so that's how they got the name.

The Skarate Kids, which now consisted of two members needed a drummer really bad.  They knew Taco from school and other school activities, and he soon tried out at the same time as another guitarist who did not make it in, (what's a power chord?)

Now TSK was faced with the Problem of not having a bassist.  Zach and Mike hung out with Ryan on a regular basis, and when they heard he started playing bass, they asked him immediately.  Ryan tried out soon after, and he wasn't he best bassist, actually he wasn't a bassist...but we knew he had potential, so we brought him in, and what the hell do you know, now he's freaking awesome (yeah right), but Ryan is still wishing he could sing backing...and what do u know...HE CAN'T!

Zach was now the only horn in the band.  Only one horn in a ska band always sucks ass and sounds bad.  so they soon drafted in "Bob"(name changed for privacy), a school friend of Zach's.  They then asked him to join the band, and he quickly agreed, playing trumpet amazingly well.

Soon after finishing their first successful song, after about half a year of being a a band, they brought in "janette", who was the first female intrested in playing in TSK.  After member disputes, she eventually quit, but her membership will always be cherished.

"Bob 2" tried out in the midst of recording, and made it in, and was the other backbone(Ryan wasn't the only one anymore) of TSK, unfortunatley, he did not pass his probation, and is no longer in TSK....bye bye good ol' chap

"Bob" left/was kicked out of the band in the middle of the recording process.

Kambic tried out on a cold winter day.  He amazed TSK with his sax playing skills, and his snow shoveling dedication(he was better than taco), and easily made it into TSK.

TSK just finished their demo, "Bouncy Balls and Clothes Hangers", so you should go listen to two tracks from it on www.myspace.com/theskaratekids
